Now that I'm enjoying the academic life (I'm studying Culture Environment at LNU) I find I haven't got much time at all for being randomly creative. Still I kept sundays sacred and decided that they shall be used for working on my steampunk costume. So steampunk sundays. So far I've made a small cylinder hat in papier mache, bent the frame of a pair of glasses and of course I have started with the transformation of my old corset made into an underbust.
The other day me and my sister, Alice, started taking apart things, this time a VCR and an old clockwork, to get parts to make us (she's working on an outfit too) look more
mechanical. Gonna keep it simple though, wouldn't want to end up
looking like I just "glued some gears on it" even though that's probably
how I'll go about it. Glue gun is after all a very effective weapon.
